Many bacteria are active under specific environmental conditions such as oil and gas fields, drilling and completion, stimulation measures, produced water and downstream links such as pipeline transportation and fuel storage. Microbial production in these occasions will cause many problems, including microbial corrosion (MIC), formation plugging of oil and gas wells, etc., resulting in production stoppage
Inefficiency of production, damage to transportation and storage equipment. Our microbial control program is designed to meet the needs of long-term and short-term sterilization and antisepsis to reduce its total operating costs.
ANR-324 bactericide (tetrahydro-3,5-dimethyl-2H-1, 3,5-thiadiazine-2-thione) is an alkaline broad-spectrum bactericide, which is applicable to all process links in the oilfield. It can well control sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) and acid-producing bacteria (APB). In addition to controlling SRB, it can also reduce the content of hydrogen sulfide in existing "sour wells", thus improving the safety of operators and ensuring the continuity of oil and gas production. Compared with general bactericides such as THPS and glutaraldehyde, ANR-324 is a more broad-spectrum bactericide, which will not interfere with common downhole additives and has a wide range of bactericidal efficacy.
Action mechanism of ANR-324
ANR-324 is an electrophilic active bactericide. Its active substances react with the specific nucleophilic body of the cell and destroy bacteria and fungi through the leakage of components in the cell membrane, cell dissolution, dissipation of proton electrochemical potential and/or enzyme inhibition.
Long-acting fungicide
Create more value for customers to remove HS gas in the liquid
Provide long-term protection for wellbore by eliminating microbial corrosion (MIC)
Enhance the performance of anionic/cationic drag reducing agent to improve the productivity
It can still be controlled under high temperature and pressure and is fully compatible with common chemical additives

case study
THPS and glutaraldehyde can control bacteria to a certain extent within a maximum of 30 days. ANR-324 can continue to control SRB and APB colonies for 180 days thereafter. This means that the control time of bacteria causing corrosion and safety problems has been extended by 6 times. In addition, the recent oilfield evaluation also shows that ANR-324 can effectively remove H2S gas in the wellbore within one year. Safety matters
